US-based tech company delivering Smart Tech Solutions announces EU Managing Director- Xavier Therin
Industrial Plant Solutions, LLC- IPS – announced today that Xavier Therin is now EU Managing Director. Therin started with the company in 2019 as a market development consultant. He has now taken over operational responsibilities for the company’s UK and European business.
Mr. Therin comes to IPS with 30 years of experience in the cement, aggregate and ready mix industries. A Chartered Mining Engineer and a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, with over 25 years’ experience in the metals & minerals industry. He has exercised numerous corporate, project & production management roles across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. Focusing on business performance, he has successfully implemented & managed continuous improvement programs relative to the operational & commercial aspects of the business; asset management, maintenance, automation, industry 4.0, commercial & pricing strategy. Delivering sustainable cost reductions and revenue improvement, in often difficult environments.

The company has been focusing on developing technology solutions and systems integration for the minerals, aggregate, cement, concrete and related extractive and building materials producers. Now, with the release of their SMARTPLANT TELEMATICS™and integration partnerships with such companies as LLumin and Marcotte Systems, IPS is expanding both in market sectors and geographic markets.
What to expect next…
IPS and one of its partners will be announcing a large contract win in the United Stated where they are deploying CMMS asset management for a midwest company. The IPS and partner project includes rolling out asset management across more than 100 locations, over 4,000 assets and 500 users. This will be the largest deployment of its type in the building materials industry in the United States.
IPS is also releasing a new complete process air system. The system includes new air line technology that replaces the old school black iron piping, advanced solenoid control system, properly fitted filter, lubrication and regulation and a wireless monitoring system to ensure sustained performance of the system.
The company plans several other announcements highlighting new partnerships , product releases and staff expansions in the coming weeks.
